My name is Jalen Bunch (they/them). I am a multi-disciplinary non-binary, queer artist from New York, currently studying to receive my B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at the Berklee School of Music.

I've been involved in and exploring the arts since age 10 in various community/regional theaters, and notable stages like Radio City Music Hall, opening for the Christmas Spectacular, and Carnegie Hall, singing alongside the rock band Foreigner. In 2020, I received a Certificate of Artistic Achievement from Dance Up! A National Platform for Emerging Teen Choreographers for my work with the Trinity Dance Company.

I am most known for my role as Lucas/Demogorgon in the original off-broadway cast of Stranger Sings!: The Parody Musical. Most recently, I directed The Vagina Monologues, in collaboration with V (formerly Eve Ensler) and the V-Day Team, at the Boston Conservatory.

I enjoy creating art that is stimulating, exciting and innovative. I always strive to push myself and the people around me to be more than who they believe to be. As a non-binary artist, I constantly aim to create art intuitively and inclusively that opens hearts and minds.
